Some of you may be curious as to why im learning Japanese.
I can give you both the long and short answer, but I'll give you the long answer(You expected me to show you sympathy?Ba-da-hahaaha!)
It all started when I was watching the re-runs of EVO 2k10. Gamerbee vs Wong in particular(as well as the Juicebox vs Scumbag match. Lol'd at how salty scumbag got. "Sticks will fly at this location!).
After watching Wong get annihilated, I saw a couple matches of Jwong and Daigo. After that, it spiralled into "The beast is unleashed!" and the Afrolegends vs Daigo ST match.
Looking through the related videos, I came across "Translating for Daigo" by Laoshu..Uhh(Numbers.Cant remember the numbers sorry man).Basically, he picked up Daigo from the Airport and treated him as a guest for the night. Bought him dinner, etc etc. Now, since Mr.Umehara(Umehera-Sensei?Dont jump me bro, Im still learning!) cant speak english very well, Laoshu translated it all.If I recall, there was about 4 or so videos.
I dunno why, but seeing Daigo slightly drunk, and talking to a black guy that can speak Japanese(Laoshu);Excited me.(Jesus christ.THAT is not what I mean. I KNOW YOUR THINKING IT)
The guy in the reflection of my Computer Monitor had a very peculiar smile..'You know what the smile means, dont you?' he said.
I knew exactly what that smile meant.I was about to learn something. And ENJOY IT.
So yep.Long story done. Short story?Saw a video of Daigo, and if ever I saw him;I wanted to be able to communicate with him, or any other Japanese person(RX,I WANT YOU SO HARD)
Onto H-H-Hiraaagaaanaaa
I am actually having a blast learning Hiragana. Most of the characters are hard to memorise, but I find It really fun to write it down. Street Fighter IV is actually helping me, which Is amazing; As Games are normally the bane of everything I do.
It may be wrong/Not make sense, but god damn if it doesnt help me memorize them!
(ほせんか!I main Claw and sub Chun)
Tis all for now.Hopefully I can get this done in the next week so I can start on Katakana.
Until we Meet again, Glorious Komrades.

Journey through the ages:And This is where our story begins.
Hello, my name is Harry.I made this blog as a motivational booster of sorts, on my Journey to learn Japanese, and just other crap in general.
I may keep this as a general blog, just to post crap, If I get enough followers or if enough people are interested in what I have to say.
Wait, this is my blog.I can do whatever the tits I want, right?Awesome.
I've been told that learning Japanese is a cruel, hard journey. That, is one of the reasons I set up this blog(The other I have already stated). To be completely honest, I think I'll be over trying to learn a language in a couple of days. But I make this promise:I will do my very best to stay on track. To Keep on tanking.
So, here is the motivational part(Hopefully)
Why are you learning Japanese?
To be completely truthful, I still do not have an adaquate purpose for learning this language.Maybe Im a weeaboo. Maybe Im bored of speaking english, but that would probably be a notion back to "Im a weeaboo".
I wanted a goal to write down. But I really dont have one. I DID right down "To be able to communicate with the natives", but then my head instantly went to "Excuse me, where is the nearest Arcade?Do they Have Marvel vs Capcom 2 there?", And From there it spiralled onto "Oh man.I still cant believe Wong got knocked out of Evo by an Adon. He didnt even make the top 8!I should really pick up Chun again and stop playing Claw.I think hes making me gay"
See what I mean?Easily Sidetracked..Oh well.Hopefully this language has enough of a hold on me to keep me coming back. The probability of me studying instead of playing TF2 or watching mindless videos on Youtube is very, VERY slim.(I'd say about a 20-30% chance. And even THAT is pushing it)
And with that, notions the end of the very first blog post here.To anyone reading, hopefully you stick around. This ride is about to get hella interesting.
I leave you with this:
"Every Action comes from a thought.
Every thought has its influence.
Every influence has its roots.
The Root is either good or evil.
And This is where our story Begins."
